Commercial high-speed traffic highway is a road with a total length of 27,4 km. The line will unite the Western High-Speed Diameter highway (WHSD) and the high-speed traffic Latitudinal highway into a unified transport network and provide transport connections for most districts of Saint-Petersburg allowing to relieve the city center.
The project provides as well for foundation of new links between right and left bank of the Neva River on the most popular sector from Alexander Nevsky Bridge to Volodarsky Bridge, and implementation of Saint-Petersburg center deep turnout system by means of high-speed and continuous highways constructed around busy city road network including the historic center of the city.
