Current status: development of documentation on territorial planning

The project is part of the federal program "Five Seas and Lake Baikal" for the creation of year-round seaside resorts. By 2030, on the territory of the former construction site "Gorskaya", it is planned to create sports and hotel infrastructure facilities, a large number of public and recreational spaces, develop the coastal strip of the Neva Bay of the Gulf of Finland, build embankments and a walking park area along the water. New Holland Island

The project envisaged the reorganization of a cultural heritage site of federal significance — the monument "New Holland" Ensemble — for modern use, the creation of an open public space that would become a vibrant cultural center of the city, a calling card for intellectual and creative groups from all over the world.
New stage of the Mariinsky Theatre
Investment volume: ₽ 22 bln

The building, with a total area of ​​79 thousand square meters, is one of the best-equipped theater and concert venues in the world. The auditorium, built according to the tiered scheme traditional for world opera houses, can accommodate up to 2,000 spectators. The new theater has seven above-ground and three underground floors; the main stage, rehearsal and backstage, rehearsal halls for ballet, opera, choir and orchestra. Concerts, lectures, and educational projects for children and young people are held in four chamber halls named after Mussorgsky, Prokofiev, Stravinsky and Shchedrin. Western High-Speed Diameter Highway (WHSD)
