Current status: development of territory planning documentation
The project is part of the federal program «Five Seas and Lake Baikal» aimed at creating year-round seaside resorts. By 2030, the former construction site «Gorskaya» is planned to be developed into sports and hotel infrastructure, numerous public and recreational spaces, the improvement of the coastal area of Neva Bay in the Gulf of Finland, as well as the construction of promenades and a park zone along the waterfront.
The cluster will cover an area of 160 hectares.
The project aims to contribute to the comprehensive development of domestic and inbound tourism in Russia by creating conditions for the formation and promotion of a high-quality and competitive tourist product in both domestic and international tourist markets, strengthening the social role of tourism, and ensuring accessibility of tourist services, leisure, and recreation for citizens.
